According to France 24, the Houthis said Saudi Arabia launched retaliatory airstrikes on Tuesday against targets within Yemen. Previously, Houthi attacks on Saudi oil facilities had injured dozens.

France 24 reported that the four-year ceasefire between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed Yemeni government collapsed in July this year, and a rapid new round of escalations of strikes and counterstrikes followed.
